I live in a small town, almost like the countryside. You'd expect peace and quiet, right? You couldn't be more wrong.
Summer is especially annoying with all the windows wide open at home and furious lawnmowers buzzing around, with people thinking that if they want to listen to music, it's okay to force you to do the same. Loud karaoke in the middle of the night is one of the most drastic examples I've experienced recently. I couldn't do much more than just pour my frustration into my sketchbook.
Funny enough, not long after, I read an article in Wyborcza about noise pollution and how much we disrespect one another with our own sounds, particularly in summer. Exactly when we all seek rest and recovery.
