I read an article in Frankie Mag issue 118 about endometriosis, and I was crushed!
Although I don't suffer from this condition myself, I certainly empathize with the pain of being dismissed, ignored, and minimized—accused of exaggerating and overreacting. The legacy of hysteria has also planted seeds of self-doubt into my DNA.
I feel like we need to speak up about these matters loud and clear. This sexism and gender bias must stop. Here is my spec illustration for the article, along with two accompanying spots.
